Note the date of Baptism preparation that you have attended or would like to attend. Baptism preparation sessions are usually on the first Sunday of every month at 2:45 pm in the parish library. Date to be confirmed by Parish Office.

DATE OF RITE OF WELCOME

THE RITE OF WELCOME: This can be celebrated at any weekend Mass you choose after attending a Baptism Preparation Session and prior to the Baptism. If you wish, the ‘Rite of Welcome’ and Baptism can happen on the same day, or on separate days. The weekend Mass times for ‘Rites of Welcome’ are: Saturday 6:00pm (vigil) Mass; Sunday – 9.00am and 10:30am ***Because of the current COVID situation we do not have a Rite of Welcome.

DATE OF BAPTISM

Baptisms are celebrated after the 10:30am Mass on Sunday, about 11:30 am. Sometimes families prefer a Saturday evening ceremony after the Vigil Mass. Your preferred baptism date cannot be confirmed until the Preparation session.**** Due to the current situations we are conducting Baptisms at 12:30 pm ***

PHOTO PERMISSION FOR WELCOME BOARD

To mark this wonderful event we, with your permission, will place a photo of parents and child on the ‘Welcome’ board in the church foyer with all those who have joined our community through Baptism in recent months.
