COMMUNION MINISTERS AND SACRISTIANS TRAINING:
Our parish is always in need of more parishioners to serve as Communion ministers, Sacristans and ministers of communion to the sick. You will notice how often the task falls to the same people, never an ideal thing. On Sunday, Feb 23rd at 3:00 pm or Thursday 27th Feb at 7:30 pm, in the church, a workshop will be held for all new and existing ministers of Communion and Sacristans, to take up this important role of service in our community. Attendance to only one of them is needed. It would be great to have all the different communities who comprise our parish be represented more strongly in these roles. Please put your name down in the signup sheet in the foyer to let us know when you can attend. More information contact Siji at 5941 7315.
Volunteers from Paddy’s Kitchen will be providing sausages after masses today and will be available after both Sunday masses to answer any questions you may have if you are considering being a volunteer..

MATTHEW: THE KING AND HIS KINGDOM
The book of Matthew brings the history of Christ to life. We see Jesus as the awaited Messiah who fulfills the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament, establishes the New Law, and inaugurates the kingdom of heaven. Matthew: The King and His Kingdom, a twenty-four-part Bible study, explores how Jesus is challenging and empowering us to a new level of holiness and shows how we must be thoroughly immersed in the kingdom of heaven on earth, the Church, to live it.
St Patrick’s Church, Pakenham, will begin Matthew: The King and His Kingdom on May 1st at 6:30pm every Friday. Participants will meet every week to view an engaging video presentation followed by a time of lively group discussion and fellowship.
