After the initial contact has been made couples are invited to attend a one hour Baptism Preparation Session. These are held once a month. Once the preparation session has been completed a Baptism date can be arranged.
Baptism is celebrated most weekends at either the Saturday 6pm Mass or the Sunday 10.30am Mass.
The initial part of the Baptism – The Welcome by the Community is held at the start of Mass. The rest of the Baptism is celebrated after Mass.
RCIC: The Rite of Christian Initiation is being adapted in our parish for school age children who have not been baptised, and whose families may be seeking this sacrament. If you would like your school age child baptised kindly contact the parish office at 59471 7315 or email: email@example.com .
Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist & Confirmation
Parents of children attending St. Patrick’s Primary School and St. Clare’s Primary School will be contacted through the school. Children attending other schools please contact Siji Dominic at the Parish Centre on 5941 7315 at the beginning of each year.
In the preparation of candidates for Sacraments the family, the parish and catechists and teachers will be involved.
Proposed Sacrament Dates for 2018
Those planning to marry should ensure that a celebrant and the church have been booked before any other arrangements are made.
Those couples intending to marry will be invited to attend a one day Marriage Preparation Course organized by the Diocese. Please contact Fr. Buckley at least 6 months before the wedding.
Sacraments of the Sick

The Sacrament of the Sick is celebrated each month at the Ron Andrews, McGregor Gardens and Shanagolden Nursing Homes, and during Lent and Advent in the Church. Parishioners are most welcome to attend the nursing home Masses.
