We pray for those who are sick including Joseph (Don) Savy, Keith Brooks, David Gudgeon, Calvin Furnell, Richard Pereira, Val Battams Tom Cervasio, Marie Stephen, Deonetta Golja, George Hilder and Philomena Austin. We pray for all who care for the sick and worry about them. May their works of service be richly blessed. (Names can only be placed on this list by the sick person or a family member).

PLANNING FOR THE 2020 PLENARY COUNCIL OF THE CHURCH IN AUSTRALIA:   As the planning for the 2020 Plenary Council of the Church in Australia gets underway, Bishop Pat O’Regan would like to host a meeting with parishioners in each of our 27 parishes over the first half of 2018.   It is envisaged that these meetings will be a way of introducing parishioners to the concept of Plenary 2020; initiating dialogue; explaining the plenary process and most importantly, listening to the people to that end Bishop Pat has put together a schedule of meetings to visit our 27 parishes and will be at St Patrick’s on the 24TH of April. Please mark your diary early!

MASS OF THE OILS:  will be celebrated by Bishop Patrick & priests at St Mary’s cathedral Sale, on Tuesday March 27th at 11am.  This is a beautiful occasion when the oils will be blessed and consecrated and distributed to parishes to use in the celebration of sacraments. A choir is also needed contact smorley@sale.catholic.org.au  for info.

Zimbabwean Community Stations of the Cross: 4:00pm, Sunday.


GOOD FRIDAY STATIONS OF THE CROSS: There will be an outdoor communal/family way of the cross conducted on Good Friday (30th March) at 10.30am. If you wish to be part please contact Tresa 0421931888 or use the signup sheet in the foyer.


CHOIR PRACTICE – Lent/Easter Wednesday at 7.30 pm and continue through Lent. Dates for your calendar are 14th and 21st & 28th March. All singing voices are welcome.


WORKING BEE: There will be a special working bee to spring clean the whole church on the 24th March at 10:00am


PATRICK’S SOCIAL GROUP Indoor bowls:We are all beginners who enjoy the bowls, good company and plenty of laughs followed by a “cuppa” for $2.00.  We play every fortnightExercise Group every Thursday at 10a.m. in the Parish Hall led by Jacqui a professional teacher followed by a “cuppa”.  Chair exercises also

  • TRASH & TREASURE: can be dropped off at the school Monday or Wednesday 2:30-3:30pm or Friday 8:30 to 9:15am or alternatively left at the Parish Office
  • CAKE STALL. Please label donations with the name of your product and all ingredients used. No Cream or Meat products please. Items can be dropped off between Thursday March 15th and Friday March 16th in the Parish Centre.
  • BOOK STALL is also in need of donations which can be left at the Parish Office.
  • PLANTS can also be left at the office or Mrs. Chalmers classroom.

BRO. JOHNSON SEQUEIRA, a Catholic lay preacher and founder of the JCILM Ministry (Jesus Christ is Lord Ministry www.jcilm.info) will be leading a Lenten healing retreat in the month of March and April in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Canberra. He is blessed with a gift of preaching and teaching God’s Word in a very simple, effective way for all to fall in love with God’s Word and become doers of the Word. 

He’s blessed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit namely preaching and healing among other gifts of the Spirit.  Johnson Sequeira preaches around the world and many lives have been touched and changed.

COMBINED CHURCHES EASTER DAWN SERVICE: When: 6:15am Sunday April 1st Where: Cardinia Lakes Amphitheatre (off Windermere Boulevard) you are invited to praise God, together with other Christians, for the glorious resurrection of Jesus in a combined Easter dawn service! Please put the date in your diary or phone and plan to come! The service is timed so you can still attend your own church’s Easter Sunday service. LITURGY MEETING: The next meeting to discuss review and plan for the liturgy in our parish will be on Thursday March 15th at 7:30 pm, in the Parish library. If you are involved in any area of parish liturgical ministry, or would like to join in, you are most welcome to attend.
