TRINITY FAMILIES APPEAL:

Trinity Families is the Sale Diocese’s charitable fund which does magnificent work providing support for programs which aid families in need of welfare services. Over the past 15 years, it has provided a marvelous $1.5 million to assist other charities to run programs for families in need in our region.

Programs funded include family counseling services, parenting programs, suicide prevention, respite care, drug and alcohol programs, and emergency accommodation. Trinity Families could do much more if it had more financial resources and that is why we need your support for the annual appeal in our parishes.

The theme this year is “Be the reason someone smiles today.” Your generosity in supporting this annual appeal will be greatly appreciated. Envelopes are available which can be used for donations. Cheque and credit card donations can be posted back to the diocese but we ask that cash donations are placed in the envelope and returned in one of the Sunday collections. Tax-deductible receipts will be provided if you give your email or postal address.

The Trinity Families website www.trinityfamilies.org.au has details if you wish to donate by direct debit. Again, please consider giving generously to this annual appeal and hopefully we see smiles on the faces of many more struggling families within our diocese.

MASS FOR YOU AT HOME:

There are many people in our parishes who are unable to attend Mass because of illness, or on some occasions because of a lack of priests. Network 10 offers a weekly Mass service that many people have found helpful in nourishing their spiritual life if they can’t join with the parish community. Let your local nursing homes or housebound friends know about this service. Here is the link: www.tenplay.com.au/ channel-ten/mass-for-you-at-home.
