PLANNING YOUR GOLDEN YEARS
This is the working title of a day the parish Team is planning at the parish on October 16th from 10:00am – about 12:30pm. Topics that we will be covering include a lawyer speaking about preparing wills and Power of Attorney, both legal and medical; a funeral director to speak about the arrangements that can be made when that time comes, someone to speak about Advanced Care planning, so people can make clear the wishes they have when they may not be able to make good decisions about their on going health care. And also we will have a talk about leaving clear plans for the type of funeral people might want, leaving details for family members to follow. There will be ample time for questions on the day. The session will conclude with lunch.
